Crossroads has its own site
May 2006 - As of May 2006, Crossroads, our software load balancer and failover utility, is hosted at its own website: crossroads.e-tunity.com. We hope you'll enjoy the new site!

UNIX System Thermometer
April 2006 - During our loadtests at some of our customer's systems we've found that given the variety of Unix flavors, there is no uniform thermometer to tell us 'how a system is doing'. Enter Systher, a simple tool that reliably reports the system status in XML format for further processing, for reporting in HTML format, and so on. Crossroads supports persistent HTTP sessions
March 2006 - Crossroads, e-tunity's open source load balancer and failover utility, now supports "persistent HTTP sessions". A useful and much requested extension to this balancer is now available. Read the documentation on our public site for more information.

Easy Benchmarking Suite in open source
January 2006 - The 'Easy Benchmarking Suite', a set of handy scripts to benchmark websites and applications, was placed on our public site. Read the documentation for more info.

Easy SVN in the Open Source domain
December 2005 - The 'Easy SVN Browser' that e-tunity itself uses, has been made available in the Open Source domain. It is a web viewer for SVN repositories that runs almost anywhere: all that is needed is a command-line svn client, and Perl. Our public site hosts it (entry: web-svn-view), and there's also a Freshmeat project page

Crossroads Loadbalancer in the Open Source domain
August 2005 - Crossroads, a software load balancer and fail over utility for TCP services, has been made available in the Open Source domain. It is primarily hosted on our public site where all latest versions are available. A Freshmeat project page is available.

www.e-tunity.com is up and running again
January 2005 - We've had some technical difficulties during the christmas holidays concerning networking and hardware. Fortunately all of the important information (including public.e-tunity.com) could be reconstructed, and we're up and running again.

The e-trx productset is booming
January 2004 - The newest product set of e-trx is focussed on enhancing the posibilities of webservices. The combination of the trxproxy with a large variety of client software makes is more easy to use SOAP/XML and XMLRPC calls. At this time there's an easy way to call the services from Java, PHP, Perl and C.

Factsheet: Transaction Services
July 2003 - e-tunity proudly announces the latest version of TRX. Major additions are:

March 2003 - The public PGP keys for our e-mail channels info@e-tunity.com and support@e-tunity.com are now on the support page of our public site public.e-tunity.com. If you have confidential information and wish to encrypt this before sending it via e-mail, then please use one of these keys.

New look www.e-tunity.com
December 2002 - We've revamped www.e-tunity.com. We hope that you like the new look. The layout is now somewhat strict, which provides a better overview of what's contained and what not. And the new structure makes it easier to maintain.

Oktober 2002 - The demo and project site http://aex.e-tunity.com is fully operational. This site shows some of our standard modules for a stock exchange site.

public.e-tunity.com launched
September 2002 - The site http://public.e-tunity.com is live, We're putting our documentation and software up on this site, some even with full sources. You're welcome to take a look!

e-tunity announces e-bench
February 2002 - e-tunity announces e-bench, an Internet based software development platform. See our press announcement (in dutch).

Terms of Service
January 2002 - Due to the introduction of the euro, and given the more restricted policy terms of our insurers, we now have a new version of the Terms of Service. As of January 28th 2002, all new orders automatically fall under these terms. Please see the page Services for more information.

Portfolio 2001 is live
June 2001 - ABZ is marketing the application Portfolio2001. The original article appeared in ABZ Networking and is in Dutch:

Polisgegevens op het web. In samenwerking met e-tunity heeft Abz een interactieve site ontwikkeld waarmee tussenpersonen hun klanten polisgegevens online kunnen aanbieden. Woensdag 2 mei is de eerste site van assurantiekantoor Johanknegt uit Bussum gepresenteerd. [...] Automatiseringsbedrijf e-tunity uit Zwolle nam de technische bouw van de site voor haar rekening. Peter Bosch van e-tunity: "Gezien de aard van de gegevens die via het Internet beschikbaar worden gesteld is alles uit de kast gehaald om de veiligheid te garanderen. Binnen de applicatie zijn hiervoor diverse maatregelen getroffen." [...] "Wij zijn uiteraard graag betrokken bij de realisatie van dergelijke vernieuwende en complexe initiatieven."


ABZ and e-tunity partners in Portfolio2001
April 2001 - ABZ Nederland B.V., a Dutch company that enables the communication process between insurance parties, intermediaries and others, has shown great interest in e-tunity's application "Portfolio2001". An intention agreement has been signed, and a cooperation is underway where ABZ will integrate Portfolio2001 in its palet of networked applications and where e-tunity will act as producer of the application and preferred supplier of additional functionality. At the moment, the application is undergoing beta-testing with our launching customer.

"E-tunity bouwt internet-applicatie voor intermediair.
Het consultancybedrijf e-tunity in Zwolle ontwikkelt een interactieve website waarmee tussenpersonen worden ondersteund bij hun contacten met de klant.
De internetapplicatie is een elektronische weergave van de tussenpersonenadminstratie ten behoeve van de klant. Deze wordt in staat gesteld om zijn verzekeringsportefeuille in te zien, polisbladen en -voorwaarden per verzekering te bekijken, een totaal premieoverzicht op te vragen en algemene wijzigingen door te geven aan de tussenpersoon.

Na toestemming van de tussenpersoon kan de klant bepaalde mutaties uitvoeren: het toevoegen of verwijderen van verzekerden of verzekerde objecten. De tussenpersoon geeft de toegangscodes uit voor de applicatie en voert in eerste instantie de polisnummers op die een verzekeringnemer via de site te zien krijgt.

Eén server De applicatie is ontworpen om op één server meerdere tussenpersonen-websites te kunnen presenteren. De server gedraagt zich dan als een zogeheten Application Service Provider (ASP). Aan de hand van de gebruikersnaam en het wachtwoord van de klant bepaalt de applicatie de bijbehorende tussenpersoon en neemt diens vorm aan. Op dit moment is de internet-applicatie alleen als prototype beschikbaar. Enig inzicht in de prijsstelling kon nog niet worden gegeven. Ook werd niet verteld welke tussenpersoon met deze internet-applicatie gaat werken."
